7 DAYS TILL DEVIL

So we had the first NEW ZEALAND public screening of THE DEVIL DARED ME TO.
We thought the most fitting place would be Timaru.
You know because the stunt team is called THE TIMARU HELLRIDERS and
because Sheldon Snake (Dom Bowden) describes it as a shithole.

We though that turning up and facing the flack was the manly thing to do.
There was a little bit of tension but over all they seem to love the flick.

There was a very friendly Q&A afterwards and we all went home friends.

The official premiere will be in Auckland in on the 10th and everyone can see it
from Thursday 11th

We flew out of Timaru in a 20 seater plan, holy shit landing in Wellington on windy day in a small plane is fucking scary.

Anyway just 7 days to the NZ release.

DEVIL PROMO TOUR NZ

Hey so we are on the NZ promo tour.
Played to 2000 drunk Engineering students with our band Deja Voodoo in CHCH it was awesome.
Then went to Dunedin and got drunk at the MONTHRA student film making awards. The place where we started. It was good although there were no directions for what we were supposed to do on stage so that was interesting.
Then a day of press, went to Beachlands Speedway for a photo shoot. I loved that place as a kid.
Now we are in CHCH doing hundreds of Interviews surely everyone in the country will know about this movie by the time we are done.
We are flying into Timaru today I saw on the news that one the small planes went on fire there yesterday and had to emergency land so looking forward to that.

Oh yeah and the soundtrack album is out so go buy it at a store or on line here.

LONDON PREMIERE BLOOD AND PISS AND SHIT

So the London premiere was really fun lots of people and lots of boozing back at the hotel afterwards.
The night ended when Ant Timpson (EP) order 55 beers on room service and they worked out we were having a party.

The night before that was full on. Went out drinking and ended up at a weird illegal underground bar. A Beer cheers went badly wrong smashing a heiniken bottle into my hand.

Huge gapping wound in may hand and in Ants. There ended up being a bright trail of blood and glass between us and the bar.

Anyway I went back to my hotel room and went to sleep. When i woke it was like some one had been murdered. The room was covered in bloody towels as was the TV, my laptop and half the mini bar. Worse still I lying in a pool of my own blood about the same size as my body.

I was weak from blood loss and could hardly stand up but managed to escape before house cleaning turned up.

Good times.

So it's just a few more days in London then off to LA and then back home to NZ for the DEVIL realease on 11th October

BERLIN

In Berlin for a few days for some screenings of Devil.
Found out the stunt Co-ordinator from the movie Mark Horwell works as a stunt man at a movie park. Went to see his show it was fucking cool. Mad Max style. The dude is the star of the show. Thousands of screaming germans were watching the show. Afterward Chris jumped off the set.

We also found this giant King Kong statue. It looks like it's having a wank.

HAMBURGLER

So Hamburg ruled went to a huge beer drinking hall.
Sung German drinking songs with some cool Germans.
Then went to Devil Screening which went well and then went to some bar somewhere in Hamburg that played cool rock music and we played table soccer.

Then was really wasted and went to some weird street with girls in windows and then went to dozens of streets full of thousands of drunk people, then drank more beers and more beers and then snorted some horrible stuff and then some how made it back to my hotel and then

I discovered some cunt had pick pocket my fucking wallet.

200 pounds and some Euros and my credit cards and all my important stuff - gone.
Only had enough cash to pay for my journey back to London and a Bratwurst. Which was the worst wurst I have ever had.

But on the good side we drove on the Autobahn from Berlin which has no speed limit.

You can drive at 200kpr no one cares in fact it's encouraged. People were passing us . The flash dudes drive at 280.

Makes intercity travel very fun indeed.

New Zealand should be ashamed of it's pathetic 100km limit.

GERMANY:THE RING AND THE TOWER

So we are in Germany and it is awesome.

Landed in Köln, checked into the hotel, went to the theatre introduced the film, had some beers and then did the Q and A.

The Germans seemed to like the film. Much laughing in the right places.

Most people I meet here have trouble understanding my dodgy South Island form of the English language so some of the dialogue jokes may not have come across.
But Devil is not a dialogue heavy film so - sweet as.

That night we went out for a drink with Marcus from legend films and Frederike from the FANTASY FESTIVAL.

We were introduced to this amazing thing called 'Das Ring'. It is basically eight beers in a wooden ring .
We were so keen to experience the German culture that we had three of these rings and ended up drunk as fuck.

The following morning it was time to go to BOCHUM.

Drunkenly we made a plan with Frederike to meet at the Koln Cathedral so she could show us where to catch the train .
Now neither me nor Chris were clever enough to have phones that work in Germany. So we arrive at the Cathedral and it was massive.
There are about 3000 people taking photos and so we couldn't find Frederike, we completely missed our train and had to work out how to get to BOCHUM our selves.

Which we did - sweet as.
Just hours late and hundreds of dollars wasted.

In BOCHUM we stayed at the coolest hotel Tucholsky Art Hotel it was flash as all hell with individually designed rooms. My room had a stupidly big bathroom and Chris' was some kind of Japanese design.

The screening went really well again with much laughter. After the Q and A we went drinking in a BOCHUM center know as the Bermuda Triangle.
It is basically this massive area with hundreds of outside bars.
So many bars infact it is very easy to get lost.

It was there in the Bermuda Triangle that we discovered - THE TOWER.
A huge amount of beer served in a massive tower with a tap at the bottom.
Our German friends laughed and said we would never defeat the tower but we did.
And in record time.
Then stumbled back to our classy hotel. Avoiding the perils of the Bermuda triangle.

Now it is off to BERLIN for more screenings.
But to get there we must travel at many hundreds of Kilometers an hour on a high speed train.
What amazing adventures will we get up to next?

DEVIL IN SAN FRAN

Hey I got this email from this dude that was at a screening of devil in San Francisco the other night.

Hi guys,

I'm a Kiwi living in London and over in San Francisco for work.

Was trying to find something to do tonight, and flicked through a mag
and it featured your movie. Checked out your site and found it was
actually playing tonight at the Roxie, and thought if I miss this I'll
never get to see it. (Somehow can't quite see Air NZ playing it on
flights.)

Well, when we got there the Frightfest festival director heard me
talking, asked if I was a Kiwi and got me to introduce the film!
Lucky I had bought that BoTY video off ya a couple of years ago!
(Otherwise I would have had to make shit up. I did anyway but they'll
never know. Arseholes. Told them Randy Campbell was real.)

What was great was realising at the end that they didn't get some of
the really fucking funny jokes:

Is there really a Bruno Lawrence studio?
Does Auckland really have a big hollywood style sign?

(Yes, I was actually asked both of these!)

And best of all, they thought Te Puke had a strip! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Man are they going to be shitted if they ever visit!

Anyway, cheers for a f-ing good night out!

DEVIL VS HOT ROD

Hey so there is this movie that comes out in the US this week that has pretty much the same plot as The Devil Dared Me To.

It appears to be scarily similar.

Whilst I think there is plenty of room in the world for two movies about stunt men and I reckon I will probably like this Hot Rod film when I see it.

I still feel good about this review here

DEVIL Vs HOT ROD

In other news fuck all going on just hanging in LONDON till we head to some Fantasy Festivals in Germany.

EXTRA MONTREAL SCREENING MIDNIGHT FREE

That's right due to popular demand and the annoying BOMB threat last time, there will be a new screening of THE DEVIL DARED ME TO
tonight SUNDAY 22nd JULY at midnight

that's tonight at midnight in the main screening hall
so come along if you missed out last time.

cheers matt

DEVIL BOMB SCARE

So we turn up to the theater in Montreal half an hour before the screening. There is a massive line waiting for THE DEVIL DARED ME TO stretching around the block. So me and Chris go get our picture taken with some of the crowd, stoked that so many hundreds of people have turned up. Packed house is assured.

We go off to a bar to have a few drinks with some of the other film makers. Then the fest organisor an awesome dude named MITCH gets a phone call.
BACK at the DEVIL screening BOMB SCARE!!! PANIC!!! COPS!!!
Thousands of people out on the street. EVACUATED. No one knows what's going on. It was CRAZY. By now the crowd had been waiting two hours for DEVIL. No guarantee it would play at all. NO EXPLOSIONS, NO FIRE, LOTS OF WAITING.

TWO HOURS later the BOMB dudes had sniffed every level and every seat and there was no BOMB!!!!!! and no MASSIVE EXPLOSION!!! no one was DEAD OR DYING!!
Zero people were INJURED AND BLEEDING!!!. CAUSLITIES didn't exist.

However close to a thousand people were pretty bored.
The crowd that had been waiting for FOUR HOURS finally got in to see our FILM.

We kept our opening remarks brief.

The film started and from start to finish it went down awesomely. There was laughing and yelling. It was wicked. DEVIL ended to massive and elongated applause.

Now during the picture we had sent a friend to get us a couple of secret beers. Not realising they were about 10 percent alcohol by the end of the picture we were a little DRUNK. So the Question and Answer was interesting.

At one point to prove he was the STUNTMAN as well as director. Chris performed a running jump at the front row. CRASHING two rows back in a painful heap. When he got up I got the audience chanting for him to do it again. Which he reluctantly did. This time even bigger. It was fucking funny as fuck.

So yeah the film went down awesome. Random people keep coming up to me on the street and saying how much they love it. So now we know Americans, Canadians and New Zealanders love the film. Next stop GERMANY.

In other news yesterday i got confused between my ASPIRIN and VALIUM had a few to many and had a weird day of 'out of itness' not helped by lunchtime beers.

SO it was in a heavily drugged out state that I attended MURDER PARTY which was a cool low budget horror comedy. I was really enjoying it but fell asleep and snored loudly. Woke up to STAPP telling me to shut the fuck up. I will have to see that film again in a less sedated state. What I saw I loved.

Then we went to UWE BOL'S new flick POSTAL he is the much maligned director of video game conversion movies like BLOOD RAYNE and HOUSE OF THE DEAD. Recently he challenged his most hardened critics to boxing matches. They played a trailer to the doco on that before the screening. It looks funny as.
Anyway POSTAL was super violent and super dodgy. It was really fun with some kick arse gags. I mean it was fully retarded in parts but I like that. The opening gag will probably get UWE shot in the USA.

The Q and A was funny. With UWE talking about how shit and boring FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS is.

Then we all went out for diner. On the way a homeless dude fell and smacked his head hard on the pavement. UWE made a good dude of himself by helping the guy, nursing him back to health and calling an ambulance. It was very amusing. The critics can say what they want about his films but the dude is a humanitarian.

So yeah off to another film of UWE's today DUNGEON SIEGE.

Oh yeah and THE DEVIL DARED ME TO was so popular and slightly fucked over by terrorism a repeat screening is booked for midnight sunday night and it is free to all so make sure if you are in MONTREAL you come along. This time Chris can set himself on fire in the Q and A.

cheers Matt

MONTREAL

BONJOUR

We are in Montreal for the FANTASIA film festival. DEVIL screens in a few hours in the biggest theatre yet.

Arrived in town last night after staying up all night in LA partying. Got here and then went out again so no sleep for 48 hours.
About five o'clock this morning I ate the largest plate of meat I have ever seen at some Montreal smoked meat diner. Holy shit no one should following that many beers with that much meat. Lucky I will soon have the new HARRY POTTER book to read on the toilet.

MONTREAL is cool everyone speaks French, flash old buildings and Irish bars. It has been pissing down like AUCKLAND might so I feel right at home.

LA was awesome fun as well we went to lots of studios and flash bars with photographers crowding the doors - not for us obviously.

In other news I am off to check out the hotel pool and then bar.
Before we go off to intro THE DEVIL DARED ME to several hundred CANADIANS.

Au revoir

MATT and CHRIS BACK OF THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT

Hey so we are in LA having some beers, enjoying the sun and meeting important types.
Got five days here then off to MONTREAL for the FANTASIA film festival where DEVIL is playing on FIRDAY in an awesome Theatre with cool sound. Unlike the cast and crew screening in AUCKLAND the other day when DEVIL played in a shit Theatre with shit sound. BUMMER really cause CHRIS BURT and his mates at INSIDE TRACK have made the film sound incredibly awesome. You can physically feel every bang, crash and explosion.

Was good to see everyone who worked on the film all those years ago. Fuck we have been in post for ages.

In other news we arrived in LA to see huge posters for this film called HOT ROD which looks a lot like DEVIL. It's about a stuntman. Even the posters looked like the DEVIL posters - What the fuck????
I reckon ours will be better.
Still keen to check it out.

Anyway off to VENICE BEACH for a beer or two in the sun.
SO to all you dudes freezing your arseholes off back in AUCKLAND - Ha ha ha ha.

RESEARCH

As you know the Devil Dared Me To is only just in the can and is awesome. But me Chris are so hard working and motivated that we have already started research for our next feature film. The title content and backing of this amazing future project are all completely top secret and as we have no money for it just yet it may not ever happen. But just check out the amount of research we are doing.

THE DEVIL DARED ME TO IS A FILM

Contrary to popular belief up until today 'The Devil Dared Me To' has been a video. Not a film. It was shot on the Panasonic HD format known as Vericam. So essentially it was a flash as fuck video. On set Chris our nut busting director would get really angry if any one called it a film. He would go 'It's a video you fucking cunts'.
Anyway today I watched it as a film for it has been blown up to 35mm.
And boy does it look good. It looks like a bought one. And boy oh boy do I look good projected on a huge screen.
SO to recap the Devil Dared Me To is now a film and not a video.

In other news 'The Devil Dared Me To' will be screening at Frightfest in London in August. So if you live there you should fully go its awesome.

VIDEO FOOTAGE OF DEVIL IN NEW YORK

Hello
I am sitting in the final online edit for Devil. I know I have claimed that the film has been finished before. But any second now it will be completely finished and awesome for real. Then it will be flown to WETA in Wellington to be blown up to a 35mm film print. Which will be dupicated many many times. There will be hundreds of clones. These prints will be sent forth into the world. Finally The Devil starts on it's path to world domination.
Man this is a big moment. Two years of my stinking life devoted solely to making this film (and drinking beer) and its all about to finish.

Oh shit not yet. They just discovered it needs a 2 day render.
oh well false alarm. Fuck it I might go see that movie Hot Fuzz instead.

Hey some one at the New York screening filmed the crowd and stuff and here it is. Now you people stuck down here in NZ can visualize exactly how shit went down on that amazing spring evening in New York.

INVITE TO DEVIL SCREENING NEW YORK 26th APRIL

AIN’T IT COOL NEWS, FANGORIA.COM and EMERGING PICTURES invite you to a screening of

THE DEVIL DARED ME TO
Thursday April 26th at 5pm ET
Cinema Village
22 East 12th Street
New York, NY

RSVP to: distribution@emergingpictures.com

Please arrive early. This invitation does not guarantee admission. Seating is first come first served.

“A great, crazy, fucked-up little New Zealand comedy… It’s a celebration of the stupidity of the daredevil profession, and it’s early-Peter-Jackson-gory.”
--AintItCool.com

“It's like a cross between The Road Warrior, Mad Magazine and Jackass…and quite a bit funnier than most Hollywood comedies I've seen in recent years.”
-- Cinematical

“Is New Zealand the new hotbed for cutting-edge comedy?”
--Daily Reel.com

THE LAST PICK UP FOR DEVIL

Today we shot the last pick up for 'The Devil Dared Me To'. Two essential shots one of a spine breaking and one of a car jack breaking. This might be a spoiler but the two shots are related in a narrative context. Now the film is complete. This means all you people that have seen it at screenings around the world haven't seen shit. You fully haven't fully seen it. The 2 seconds of footage we have added completely change it. It's like fucking Blade Runner compared to the fucking directors cut.

In other news the sound track is going to be awesome. Out on Liberation music in a few months. Featuring songs from Deja Voodoo and some good stuff too.

BACK IN NEW ZEALAND

The Picture above is of me and 'The General' at the London screening of The Devil Dared Me To

So we are back after an incredible trip around the world. It's been loose. Now it's time to make a new series of our TV show.
Moved a few desks round our new offices and then took a few days off cause of you know jet lag and shit like that. But man anyday now we are going to get stuck right in.

Now even thow we have had the premiere of Devil Dared Me To in Austin we are sneaking off to shoot some more pick ups tomorrow. There was this bit that just kept annoying me cause it was the only really lame bit in the whole picture. But we are going to shoot some new stuff and then the movie will be perfect.

For those of you who live in New York there will be a screening of the Devil Dared Me To on the 26th of April. Ill post details soon but make sure you go it will be awesome.

In other news we went to see Grindhouse in LA. That is the two best movies I have ever seen - Holy Christ.

Thursday, April 12, 2007

COMING HOME

So it's our last day of the most full on world tour. The Devil Dared Me To has been promoted hardcore and our livers have been almost completely destroyed.

But the good news is we are coming back to NZ to shoot the rest of the next series of Back of the Y which will be awesome fun

We did heaps of great filming around LA over the last few days.
Got asked to leave lots of different places apparently you need permits to shoot over here.
What a fucking scam.

Anyway we are blowing off all our LA meetings today to go and see Grindhouse can't wait. It's probably not out in NZ for months so you guys can suffer. Looking forward to going on about how good it is to all of you and rubbing it in your face that you won't see it for ages.

might even let loose some spoilers.

London Screening Drunken Success

Hello so I have been recieving angry emails about not updating this blog. Which is odd cause I figured no one would bother reading it.
Anyway here is an update on the shit we have been up to in ye olde London town,

We had a screening of the Devil Dared Me To in a private room at Filthy MacNasties a cool pub in Angel. Was meant to be Just some mates and a few others. Ended up being super packed and really full on. The movie went down a treat with the boozed viewers.
There was much laughter through out and a huge amount of ego boosting 'That fucking ruled' type comments at the end.

The only down side was the guitarist from Deja Voodoo 'The General'. The guy was super drunk and yelling all the way thru. He had seen it before and thought it would be a great idea to yell lines from the movie before they came up. Or yell for 10 minutes before he appeared as an extra. Or yell when ever he recognised someone which ws basically everyone in the film. But you know he's a good c**t so no biggie and the movie does lend it's self well to drunkness. So in away his pissed commentary was fitting.

The screening was followed by debauched all night drinking that left me with a hang over so bad that I nearly threw up on stage the following night. Our band was supporting Elemeno P at the Islington academy. It was wicked, the place was packed 600 - 700 people. The other three members of The Voodoo (including The General) tore the place a new arse hole. I sucked the big one. But I did get through with out passing out or vomiting. So it was a moral victory and a great time was had by all.

We are off to Stone Henge tomorrow, never been before can't wait. It better be fucking awesome or I'll kick it over.

So in between high-powered movie related meetings and boozing our band Deja Voodoo played a gig at the Camden Barfly. The show was sold out which was annoying cause all our fans turned up late and after we played. SO yeah played to half full sold out show. But we still rocked the place a new arsehole. So yeah for our next show come early ticket buyers.

WORSHIPPING THE DEVIL

So we are in New York filming the new back of the y series and its awesome. Although we can't get to that big chick out in the water cause the ferries aren't going.

Played the movie to some dudes at a small screening in new york last night and got more evidence that Americans think its very funny. In fact i think americans laugh more than kiwis.

here are some reviews

DEVIL GOES DOWN WICKED

So we had the world prem on friday and it kicked arse. Got standing and cheering and people loving it. The americans got all the jokes and could fully understand our accents. We even had quite a few people crying at the end.
Harry Knowles came and we met him and he was a really nice dude and liked the film alot.
Then as usual we got well mothered to celebrate. see below pictures.
Off to New York tomorrow for more partying and movie stuff.
But now the band is about to play a show at Beerland a cool bar here in texas
see you'll soon

DEVIL WORLD PREM TONIGHT AUSTIN

So its the big night for the film. We got roller girls handing out flyers and we have been drunkenly telling everyone in town to go to it. So it should rule. Our Executive Producer Ant is going to buy every one in the place a beer and Chris might set himself on fire (If he can be bothered). So yeah midnight tonight at the downtown alamo in austin texas. Surely it will go down well it has everything Stunts, Explosions, Tears, amputations and much more. It will make you laugh and make you cry.
Actually a few people have cried at the end.

oh yeah and our band played yesterday and we kicked arse. Man we were good.

Wednesday, March 14, 2007

ROCK N ROLL

So last night was the start of the music part of the SXSW festival. SO suddenly the streets are full of drunken bands.
It's pretty awesome. But the weird thing is we are in the middle of texas and it's pissing down with rain.
It's still two days out from the DEVIL premiere. So unfortunately we are going have to step up our already gruelling drinking and partying schedule. There is a good chance it will kill us all.

So we have been partying, meeting , people and seeing movies.
Last night we drank up a storm at some industry party then some how ended up in the middle of no where at a mansion with a millionaire who was sixty but looked 40 and his wife who looked 20 but was 40.

Oh yeah and the greatest thing happened. We met Ricky, Julian and Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys. Bubbles played a song 'Liquor and Whores'. MAn it was awesome. Very nice of those guys to put up with the star struck forning fan boy shit Chris was laying down on them.

Oh yeah and we saw stuff from 'Grindhouse' that probably won't make the movie at a Robert Rodriguez seminar. it looks like the best movie ever made. Oh yeah and we saw his band play.

our trailer for Devil Dared Me Has Been playing at the Alamo and apparently it's going down a treat so bring on friday premiere. Can't wait.

Well we have been Austin for 24 hours and it's fucking awesome. Went to the opening night party last night and got very boozed. Told every one how awesome our flick is then lost my wallet. There are about three parties a night for the next week. Hopefully we come out the other end alive.

DEVIL IN AUSTIN

The Devil Dared Me To is in Austin.
SXSW
We just flew in after staying up all night partying in LA. Can't remember much of the flight to tell you the truth.
Devil doesn't screen till next friday so all we have to do for the next few days is meet people, have a good time and tell everyone how awesome our picture is - easy.
Oh yeah and try and get to the Trailer Park Boys screening tonight.

DEVIL IN THE CAN

The Devil Dared Me To is in the can.
We knocked the prick on the head today. Which is lucky cause we leave town for Austin tomorrow. Sound and vision experts have been working around the clock for weeks to finish the bastard and they have succeeded. It's looks great and sounds great.
Barring a plane crash or me and chris losing it whilst drunk, the film will be debuting in Austin Texas on the 16th and 17th of March at the downtown Alamo 1159pm.

THE ALAMO DOWNTOWN

As you know Deja Voodoo are also performing at SXSW at BEERLAND on the 18th. Check out this brand new video' 'Frat Nation'

Compositions

A great day today the entire score to the film has been completed and it sounds awesome. The finale theme is more uplifting than Topgun.
It's a funny movie but I suggest you bring some tissues as well.

In other news Deja Voodoo our band are going on a world tour playing in Austin on the 15th and 16th of March. New York on the 21st and London on the 27th. More dates to be announced.

DEVIL NEARLY DONE

Hello

'The Devil Dared Me To' is so god damn close to being finished. Currently the sound designers, graders, ADRers, composers and various associtaed dudes are working round the clock. Every day this turd gets more and more polished. By the time 'Devil' screens in Austin it's going to be the smoothest shiniest turd in all the world. The lucky few who get in to those premiere screenings at the almo downtown should wear sun glasses to protect their eyeballs from the intence glare.

In other news work has begun on 'The Devil Dared Me To' soundtrack album. We have got tracks from 'Head Like A Hole', Sticky Filth, The Mockers and of course the mighty 'Deja Voodoo'.

Oh yeah that's right this just to hand. The band is going to SXSW also. We are playing at an Austin bar called 'Beerland' on march the 18th.

To show how appropriate it is that we are playing at place called 'Beerland' here is the video to our song 'Beers'

cheers matt

EXHIBITORS UNHINGED

The film was shown to domestic exhibitors in New Zealand on friday at a top secret location. Unlike the test screening where 200 people went bugshit crazy for the film this one was going to a lot different. Five guys sitting in a small theatrette is not conducive for the ultimate DEVIL experience. Apart from being sober, they were there to give the film a close scrutiny to its full market potential. We told them the market potential was only limited by those who don't have eyes - but they still needed to see the proof. We took a photo of two of them for prosperity.

Matt and Chris on 20/20

A couple of clips for you guys and girls to check out while Chris and Matt begin the grade and sound mix on DEVIL.

The first is from the TV Show 20/20. They asked if hard earned tax payer money should go toward making a twisted feature film like DEVIL that contains sick and anti social behaviour and lots of body fluids. The public voted and 90% said 'YES' they bloody well should. And they have.

Here is Chris and Matt with their band Deja Voodoo with their hit 'Can't Do What I Wanna Do' a ode to dudes wanting to have sex with hot girls but finding out that they weren't even born in the 80s. Obviously it isn't autobiographical. Ahem.

BLOWING STUFF UP

Matt and Chris both agreed that no one would come see THE DEVIL DARED ME TO unless 'lots of stuff blows up real good' - so the script was written to accomodate their penchant for destruction. Here is a photo of an explosion that nearly took out the historic Auckland Harbour Bridge.

HELL YEAH - THE DEVIL TAKES ON GEORGE BUSH

The film has just been invited to the cool film festival South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, TX and the whole team is bloody stoked. It looks like quite a big Devil team will be making the journey to Austin to celebrate this historic moment. This blog will record the events of the folks behind the feature film 'The Devil Dared Me To'.

Creators Chris Stapp and Matt Heath will be dropping in to keep us posted on the films progress as well as just shooting the sh*t. Come back regularly and you'll witness what happens when a New Zealand pub rock band makes a awesome movie about a stuntman called Randy Cambell.
